John Flynn Private Hospital Birth Centre offers special care for those special moments that create families.

Highly skilled Obstetricians and fertility experts are always at hand to help with the entire journey through from conception advice, to a tranquil birth.

Gaylene Hardwick, has been working in the unit for 22 years, she’s been running it as Nurse Unit Manager for six years. She has been a nurse for 35 years, registered midwife for 27 years.

With more than 50 staff within the Birth Centre, she and her team brings unique services providing exceptional care, which is their passion. 

From the moment pregnancy is discovered through to the life changing moment your baby is born, John Flynn offer a personalised experience for your individual journey.

They offer a delectable menu of freshly cooked and nutritious cuisine to enjoy during your stay, taking in the ocean views that very few hospitals in the world can offer.

You can relax with your newborn on the sweeping balcony overlooking the southern Gold Coast views, or enjoy the comfort of your privately allocated room to enjoy the luxurious large bed, en-suite facilities and mini bar.

Parents are also offered a range of education tailored to their specific needs.  Educators deliver information in a personalised way which is customised to suit busy schedules, including offering a number of online courses. There are also a number of preferences including water and calming births, and other options at the request of the parents.
