Next Level DINING with a view at 8th Ave Palm Beach

8th Ave Terrace is fast becoming one of the Southern Gold Coast’s favourite foodie destinations. Boasting an alfresco terrace with retractable roof and bustling open kitchen and bar, the first floor is the perfect spot for a casual dinner and drinks. This winter however, the 8th Ave team are launching their new banquets menu, available for groups of six or more and aimed at utilising their 2nd floor dining room.

“For the moment our dining room has been open to the public on Friday and Saturday nights, or for special events like our Meet The Maker wine dinners or Mother’s Day Lunch,” says co-owner Jordan Stubbs, “but it’s just such a beautiful space every day of the week that we thought we could offer it to larger groups and even people wanting to hold private events!”

Armed with their new Head Chef, Chris Harrington (formally of Foam, Lennox Head and The Greenhouse, London) Jordan and the team have been able to create a unique banquet and canapé offering that is bound to do this exquisite setting justice.

“It’s definitely got a terrific feel up there, but what we’re really excited about is the next few months of winter. The whales are set to arrive any day now and I can’t think of many better places to sit with a glass of wine and some great food and take it all in.”

Restaurant manager Zak Nalder is equally excited about the potential of their latest offering; “We as a team have made service and product our priority. We are very happy with our dinner service and have now started opening for lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm. Our new banquet menu will give people the opportunity to experience our upper-level dining room in it’s best light.”

While Palm Beach on a whole is certainly going through a huge boom when it comes to restaurants, cafés and bars, this team is quite happy letting their product grow at it’s own rate. As Jordan says, “When we first opened we only had the terrace available, just so we could handle it and not disappoint anyone. Then we opened the dining room and made sure we were doing that right. Opening for lunches is our latest focus and we can’t wait to share this space with our customers.”

With a view like that the only way is up! 8th Ave Terrace is open Wednesday-Thursday from 5pm til late and Friday-Sunday 12pm til late.
